Types and uses of woven bags

Types:

Woven bags, also known as snake skin bags. It is a type of plastic mainly used for packaging. Its raw materials are generally various chemical plastic materials such as polyethylene and polypropylene.

The main raw material for foreign production is polyethylene (PE), while the main domestic production is polypropylene (PP), which is a thermoplastic resin obtained by polymerization of ethylene. In industry, it also includes ethylene and a small amount of α- Copolymers of olefins. Polyethylene is odorless, non-toxic, feels like wax, has excellent low temperature resistance (the minimum use temperature can reach - 70~- 100 ℃), good chemical stability, can withstand the erosion of most acids and bases (not resistant to oxidizing acids), insoluble in general solvents at room temperature, low water absorption, and excellent electrical insulation performance; But polyethylene is very sensitive to environmental stress (chemical and mechanical effects) and has poor heat aging resistance. The properties of polyethylene vary from variety to variety, mainly depending on the molecular structure and density. Different production methods can yield products with different densities (0.91~0.96g/cm3). Polyethylene can be processed using general thermoplastic molding methods (see Plastic Processing). It has a wide range of uses, mainly used for manufacturing thin films, containers, pipelines, monofilament, wires and cables, daily necessities, etc., and can be used as high-frequency insulation materials for television, radar, etc. With the development of petrochemical industry, polyethylene production has rapidly developed, accounting for about 1/4 of the total plastic production. In 1983, the total production capacity of polyethylene in the world was 24.65Mt, and the capacity of the under construction plant was 3.16Mt.

A thermoplastic resin obtained by polymerization of propylene. There are three configurations: isotactic, random, and syndiotactic, with isotactic as the main component in industrial products. Polypropylene also includes copolymers of propylene and a small amount of ethylene. Usually a semi transparent and colorless solid, odorless and non-toxic. Due to its regular structure and high degree of crystallization, the melting point is as high as 167 ℃, and it is heat-resistant. The product can be disinfected by steam, which is its outstanding advantage. The density is 0.90g/cm3, making it the lightest universal plastic. Corrosion resistance, tensile strength of 30MPa, and better strength, rigidity, and transparency than polyethylene. The disadvantage is poor low-temperature impact resistance and easy aging, but it can be overcome by modification and the addition of antioxidants respectively.

The color of woven bags is generally white or gray white, non-toxic and odorless, and generally less harmful to human health. Although they are made from various chemical plastics, they have strong environmental protection and recycling efforts;

Uses:

1.Packaging bags for industrialand angricultural fertilizers

Due to product resource and price issues, 6 billion woven bags are used in cement packaging in China every year, accounting for over 85% of bulk cement packaging. With the development and application of flexible container bags, plastic woven container bags are widely used in marine and transportation packaging of industrial and agricultural products. In agricultural product packaging, plastic woven bags have been widely used in aquatic product packaging, poultry feed packaging, covering materials for breeding farms, shading and wind protection for crop cultivation, Materials such as hail shelters Common products: feed woven bags, chemical woven bags, putty powder woven bags, urea woven bags, etc.

 2.Packaging bags for agricultural products

Mesh bags are mainly used in agriculture and are suitable for holding friuts and vegetables such as apples, pears, onions, garlic, etc. There is also a large mesh bag for storing grass blocks, which is used to store hay and facilitate winter livestock consumption.

3.Food packaging bags

Food packaging such as rice and flour is gradually adopting woven bags for packaging Common woven bags include rice woven bags, flour woven bags, corn woven bags, and other woven bags.

4.Tourism and transportation industry

Temporary tents, sun umbrellas, various travel bags, and travel bags in the tourism industry all have plastic woven fabric applications. Various tarpaulins are widely used as covering materials for transportation and storage, replacing the bulky cotton woven tarpaulin that is prone to mold. Fences and mesh covers during construction are also widely used in plastic woven fabrics Common ones include: logistics bags, logistics packaging bags, freight bags, freight packaging bags, etc

5.Geotechnical engineering:

Since the development of geotextiles in the 1980s, the application fields of plastic woven fabrics have been expanded, widely used in small water conservancy, electricity, highways, railways, seaports, mining construction, and military engineering construction. In these projects, geosynthetics have functions such as filtration, drainage, reinforcement, isolation, and anti-seepage. Plastic geotextiles are a type of synthetic geotextile.

6.Flood control materials

Weaving bags are indispensable for flood control and disaster relief. They are also indispensable in the construction of embankments, riverbanks, railways, and highways They are anti news woven bags, drought resistant woven bags, and flood resistant woven bags.

7.Daily necessities

People who work in agriculture, transport goods, and market share plastic woven products. There are plastic woven products everywhere in shops, warehouses, and homes. The lining material of chemical fiber carpets has also been replaced by plastic woven fabrics, such as shopping bags, supermarket shopping bags, and supermarket eco-friendly shopping bags; Freight woven bags for logistics transportation, logistics woven bags.

8.Special woven bags.

Due to special factors, some industries may need to use woven bags that are not commonly used, such as carbon black bags. The biggest feature of carbon black bags is sun protection. Carbon black woven bags have a stronger sun protection ability than ordinary woven bags, and ordinary woven bags cannot withstand prolonged exposure to the sun. There are also anti UV woven bags: with anti UV function, anti aging function, etc.
